Cybul is proud to present its lock kit for the BMW 3 Series E36, a set of parts that took over 16 months to develop and involved a constant exchange between the team of engineers and test drivers. The result is a highly accomplished kit that pushes back the limits of the E36 handling. It is capable of providing over 70 degrees of maximum turning angle as well as a correct steering wheel behavior (it comes back easily during transitions and does not wobble on full lock).

This Cybul kit modifies the suspension and steering kinematics in depth: it reduces bump steer, corrects the roll centre, increases the camber angle, eliminates the Ackermann effect, optimises the caster angle and improves steering response. The maximum steering angle can be adjusted very simply via 2 adjustable limiters on each control arm that prevent the wheel from rubbing against the bodyshell. Top plates can be used to adjust the caster angle, while the camber angle can be adjusted directly on the control arms.

Developed using 3D CAD software, this 100% bolt-on kit is made from high-strength steel and features 3-piece motorsport-style rod ends with chromoly body and PTFE coating for long life. Rubber covers for the rod ends provide effective protection against water and dust, while the pivot housings are welded at the correct angle which guarantees pivots longevity. All parts required for installation are supplied in this kit.
